Founding Clinician
Rebecca L. Heller Smith, MSN, M.Ed., FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, CARN-AP (advanced addiction nursing certification), is a dual-certified family nurse practitioner and psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner. She brings a broad clinical perspective to psychiatric care, considering how symptoms may intersect with medical history, current medications, sleep, stress, trauma, substance use, relationships, daily functioning, and personal goals. Her background in education also shapes the way she practices. Rebecca believes patients should understand their treatment options, participate meaningfully in decisions, and know why a plan is being recommended.

Why "Foundry"
A foundry is a place where raw material is shaped into something stronger, more useful, and more durable. The name reflects the belief that meaningful psychiatric care is also a careful process: listening, clinical judgment, collaboration, and time.
How we practice
Patient-centered: you understand the plan. Evidence-guided: decisions answer to response over time. Connected: with your consent, Foundry coordinates with your therapist, primary care clinician, specialists, and recovery supports.
